Social Play Coupons
January 2026

To encourage participation and play during the January 2026 school holidays, and because the Social Play Coupon scheme was successful when introduced last year, we will run the coupon scheme again for 2026. Coupons are for coaching students who were registered in our Term 4, 2025 program.

Please note: due to poor attendance at the 2:00pm Sunday school-holiday session in October 2025, that timeslot will not be offered during the 2026 holidays. The coaching program will resume on 1 February 2026. Students under 12 are advised to redeem their coupons at Tuesday nights (Somerville Recreation Centre) or Sundays at 4:30pm (Frankston High School).

Overview:
To promote ongoing participation and to clarify which school-holiday sessions are included as part of your or your child’s coaching term fee, registered MPB students will again receive Social Play Coupons for use during the January 2026 school holidays. Last year some courts were underused, making it hard to pair players of similar level; expanding the social sessions during the holidays aims to improve playing opportunities and connection among students. A small number of coaching-social play times will be temporarily cancelled during the holidays to concentrate players into sessions with better attendance.

How to collect coupons:
Attend any of the listed session times below during the January 2026 school holidays to collect your coupons.

Terms and Conditions

  • Each student who was registered in Term 4, 2025 is eligible to receive up to two (2) Social Play Coupons per coaching session they attended in that term.

    • Example: attending once weekly = 2 coupons; attending twice weekly = 4 coupons.

Usage restrictions

  • Coupons are non-transferable and only redeemable by the student they are issued to.

  • Coupons may not be sold, traded, or gifted.

  • Coupons expire on January 31, 2026.

  • Outstanding fees: coupons are invalid until any outstanding MPB fees are paid in full.

Redemption sessions (January 2026 school holidays) Coupons can be redeemed only during the sessions listed below. Note: session times not listed have been temporarily cancelled for the holiday period due to low attendance. Regular coaching times resume 1 February 2026.

  • Tuesdays 7:30pm – 10:00pm — Somerville Recreation Centre

  • Thursdays 7:30pm – 9:30pm — Frankston High School

  • Saturdays 4:00pm – 6:00pm — Frankston South Community & Recreation Centre

  • Saturdays 7:30pm – 9:30pm — Frankston High School

  • Sundays 4:30pm – 6:30pm — Frankston South Community & Recreation Centre
